GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET SALES
1. Introduction
These general terms and conditions govern the sale of tickets, the formation of the agreement, and the rights and obligations of the BUYER/VISITOR, the TICKET DISTRIBUTOR, and the ORGANIZER of the sporting event (hereinafter referred to as the “EVENT”).
• BUYER/VISITOR: the person in whose name a ticket is reserved, requested, or purchased, as well as the person attending the EVENT, with the exception of Trophy Club and/or Champions Lounge attendees.
• TICKET DISTRIBUTOR: SEE TICKETS B.V, Ruijterkade 113, 1011 AB Amsterdam, KVK01140404
• ORGANIZER: Equestrian Masters Promotion, Lovgemstraat 8, 1861 Meise, BE0558.24.985.
These conditions form an integral part of the agreement arising from the purchase or request of tickets. The provisions regarding ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Event Regulations’ also apply. By making a reservation, the BUYER/VISITOR confirms having read and accepted these terms.
2. Reservation and Payment
A reservation is only final after receipt of full payment within the specified period. In the event of late payment, the TICKET DISTRIBUTOR reserves the right to confirm the reservation if tickets are still available.
The person or organization placing the reservation is responsible for payment, even if the tickets are intended for a third party. The right of withdrawal does not apply, as these are leisure services performed immediately.
3. Ownership and Resale Prohibition
• Forging, reproducing, or falsifying tickets is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted.
• The BUYER/VISITOR must comply with the “Law concerning the sale of access tickets to events” of 30 July 2013. Resale at a higher price is not allowed and may lead to the ticket being invalidated.
• Only the first holder of the original ticket is granted access to the EVENT.
• Tickets may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes without the express consent of the ORGANIZER.
• Identity checks by the ORGANIZER or TICKET DISTRIBUTOR may occur at any time.
4. Liability
• The ORGANIZER is responsible for organizing the EVENT, including the program and location. The TICKET DISTRIBUTOR is solely responsible for ticket sales.
• Changes in programming do not entitle ticket holders to a refund.
• Force majeure excludes any liability of the ORGANIZER.
• The BUYER/VISITOR accepts the risks of an outdoor event, such as bad weather, and cannot claim compensation.
• Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
• Loss or theft of tickets is the BUYER/VISITOR’s responsibility and will not result in replacement or refund.
5. Conduct and Regulations at the Event
The following items are prohibited on the premises:
• Liquids, glass, cans, camel bags, sharp objects.
• Alcohol, nitrous oxide, drugs, or other narcotics.
• Audio, film, video, and photo equipment.
• Open fires or other dangerous objects.
• Any other item considered unnecessary or dangerous by the organizer.
Persons up to 14 years of age are not allowed without a guardian or adult supervisor.
The ORGANIZER reserves the right to change this list. Open fires are strictly prohibited. Access to the event or stable grounds implies consent to security measures, such as frisking and bag checks. Refusal results in denial of entry without any right to compensation. Official merchandise is only sold within the event grounds. Sales outside may indicate counterfeit products.
By entering the EVENT, the BUYER/VISITOR agrees to the possible recording of image material, including drone footage. The BUYER/VISITOR waives portrait rights and explicitly agrees that the material may be published or used by the ORGANIZER for commercial purposes (e.g., social media campaigns, flyers, brochures, etc.).
The ORGANIZER and the TICKET DISTRIBUTOR are not liable for damage, loss, or theft during the EVENT.
Commercial activities on the premises are only permitted with written consent from the ORGANIZER. Use of the EVENT name or logo without permission is prohibited.
6. Disputes
• Disputes regarding orders must be reported by registered mail to the TICKET DISTRIBUTOR within eight days of receiving the payment request.
• Other disputes concerning ticket sales must be reported within thirty days of arising.
• The TICKET DISTRIBUTOR refers to the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for dispute resolution.
• These conditions and any disputes are subject exclusively to Belgian law. The courts of Brussels have jurisdiction over any disputes.
CASHLESS PAYMENTS
When purchasing credit, the BUYER/VISITOR agrees to the cashless payment terms.
General
Cashless payments are the standard method at the EVENT. The ORGANIZER may allow other payment methods without prior notice.
Euros are the official currency at the EVENT and can be recharged online or at on-site kiosks. The cashless carrier may be a wristband tag or a cashless card. The value of 1 euro equals the official euro value.
The ORGANIZER is not liable for malfunctions of the cashless system and does not provide detailed invoices for individual expenses or transactions.
Transaction Disputes
Problems with online top-ups or transactions must be reported immediately via info@stephex.com or on-site to the ORGANIZER. Complaints without evidence may be denied.
In case of loss or theft of the cashless carrier, the BUYER/VISITOR must report it immediately. The ORGANIZER cannot be held liable for this loss or theft.
Refunds
• Free credited euros (such as Free Coin, Recycle Coin, and Crew Coin) are not refundable.
• Other euros may be refunded after the EVENT and upon request by the BUYER/VISITOR within 30 days, subject to a possible refund fee. Free credited euros cannot be used for this fee.
• Refunds can only be requested via the Cashless Account within the period set by the ORGANIZER. Requests submitted outside this timeframe are not eligible.
The BUYER/VISITOR is solely responsible for providing accurate refund information.
