The CSI1* Grand Prix 1m30 presented by De Sutter Naturally at the Brussels Stephex Masters delivered a truly rare outcome today. After a thrilling jump-off, two combinations crossed the finish line at exactly the same time. As a result, the Grand Prix crowned not one, but two winners, a scenario that is hardly ever seen in showjumping.
A total of 50 combinations lined up for this Grand Prix. Only nine riders managed to qualify for the jump off. Among them, Ireland’s Aisling Byrne with Cnoc Rua Chinook (Pacino x Ramiro B) and Algeria’s Younes Mohamed Yakoub Ferradj with Ipanema Danfer (Number One d’Iso x Un Prince) both delivered a clear round in 35.52 seconds. It earned them a shared victory and gave the competition a remarkable and memorable conclusion.

Belgium’s Chloé Hoste crowned Best Rider CSI1*
Alongside the exceptional Grand Prix, the CSI1* at the Brussels Stephex Masters delivered another highlight: Belgium’s Chloé Hoste was named Best Rider CSI1*. The title is awarded to the most consistent rider of the weekend, and Hoste proved exactly that.
Riding her mare Valeriane de Moyon, with whom she also competed at the European Championships for Children, she started off strong with a victory on day one and a second place on day two. In the CSI1* Grand Prix 1m30 presented by De Sutter Naturally she added a solid round to finish 13th. On top of that, she delivered impressive performances with her two other horses.
Her consistent performances secured her the title of Best Rider of the CSI1*. “For every round I make a plan and try to stay fully focused,” said Hoste. “Together with my father and trainer Jan, we prepared thoroughly for this important weekend. This title is a beautiful reward for all that hard work.
Hoste’s prize was a tack box, offered by Stephex. It marked the conclusion of a weekend in which she not only celebrated podium finishes but also earned the recognition as the most consistent rider of the CSI1*.
