Jessica Springsteen named the most consistent 3* rider
After four days of intense competition among the top 3* riders, the Grand Prix of the CSI3* circuit took place on Sunday, September 1st. Only ten riders made it to the jump-off. The victory went to the Italian rider Lorenzo de Luca, who relied on Violino IL Palazetto, completing the course in 37.72 seconds. The second place was claimed by Belgian rider Mike Van Olst with Comme Elle Faut Odth Z, finishing in 38.02 seconds. Marine Scauflaire, also from Belgium, secured the third spot with Hortus d’Hoogpoort, clocking in at 38.36 seconds.
Jessica Springsteen, who finished fourth in the Grand Prix, had an outstanding week and was awarded the title of best rider of the CSI*** circuit. Her consistent performances throughout the competition earned her the top spot, ahead of Odile Gierech from the Netherlands in second place and Belgium’s Mike Van Olst in third. Jessica looks forward to the Brussels Stephex Masters every year, and this year was no different. “This show is absolutely amazing. A huge crowd and an incredible atmosphere—it’s always so much fun to ride here.”
In the young horse classes, Jessica placed third, just behind her STX teammates Kendra and Petronella. “It’s so nice to ride together, and we can always rely on each other for help when needed.”
