“This way, we can still immerse our Knokke Hippique fans in the seaside atmosphere.”
No Knokke Hippique this year, unfortunately. And it seems we’re not the only ones who regret it. Over the past months, we’ve frequently heard from visitors, riders, and crew that they’ve greatly missed the seaside spectacle this year. Especially for them, we’re organizing a very special CSI 2* Super Cup Class (powered by Kask)… Knokke Hippique style, on Thursday, August 24th.
Ellen Van Guyse, event director, explains: “Actually, the idea came from one of our loyal partners, Baobab. Why not host a Knokke Hippique competition since everyone missed the event so much? We immediately thought it was a fantastic idea. We brought the obstacles over to the Brussels Stephex Masters and ran with the concept. This way everyone still gets to celebrate a bit of Knokke Hippique.”
The CSI 2* Super Cup, powered by Kask Knokke Hippique Style, is scheduled for Thursday, August 24th at 8.30 AM in the Grand Place Arena.
On Thursday, you can also enjoy the first CSI5* competitions: The EquiHome 1.40 meter event and a qualifying competition over 1.50m high jumps (powered by Steigenberger).
