The Brussels Stephex Masters 2026 have officially begun. On Wednesday morning, the first winner of the week was already crowned in the Sablon Arena. In the CSI2* 1.30m, the opening class of the Super Cup, victory went to Saad Ahmed S A Al Saad and Fashion des Douits.
No fewer than 65 combinations lined up for this Two Phases Special, presented by EW Promotion. Al Saad immediately set the pace aboard the eleven-year-old mare Fashion des Douits. The pair remained clear in both phases and stopped the clock at 25.98 seconds in the decisive second phase, finishing more than two seconds ahead of their closest rivals.
Second place went to Brazil’s Feline Coutinho Mendonca Nagata with Ambassador Z. They also kept a clean sheet, completing the second phase in 28.26 seconds. Sweden’s Dennis Johansson completed the podium with Maya-S, finishing clear in a time of 29.25 seconds in the second phase.
With this victory, Al Saad claims the very first win of the Brussels Stephex Masters 2026 and becomes the first Super Cup winner of this year’s edition.
The Super Cup provides the stage for the CSI2* riders throughout the Brussels Stephex Masters. Over the coming days, several more classes will give the combinations the chance to battle it out once again in the Sablon Arena.
