Thierry Goffinet took his second victory of the day, when topping the Super Cup CSI2* 1.40m Starnet Prize – which also counted as a Grand Prix qualifier. Aboard Vospero de QO (Diamant de Semilly x Domino de Moyon), Goffinet recorded the fastest time in 59.96 seconds. Jonathan Ding (CAN) and Super Micke (Artist x Almeto Z) finished second with a time of 63.02, while Anna Beth Athey (USA) took third with Nat King Cole (Diamant de Revel x Camaro M) in 63.68 seconds.
Ruben Romp (NED) took the first Super Cup win of the day, in the 1.30m DelRey Prize. Riding Gintura (VDL Zirocco Blue x Corland), Romp left home rider Laura Mathy (BEL) on Gantira (Cassini Gold x breeding unknown) and Francisco José Mesquita Musa (BRA) on Verdico Imperio Egipcio (Verdi x Capitol I) behind him in second and third.
By a mere 0.07 seconds, Joe Clee (GBR) and Lafayette Van Overis (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Tauber Van Het Kapelhof) won the Super Cup 1.35m Baobab Prize. Maria Louise Kingsröd (NOR) followed in second on Clarkes Ferro (S Creevagh Ferro Ex Siebe x Diamonds Are Trumps), while third place went to home rider Patricia Guery on Dream Alive Hero (Erco Van’t Roosakker x Carthago).
