The Saturday at Knokke Hippique started with the Super Cup CSI2* 1.30m Tao Prize, where USA’s Mimi Gochman on Avoloma BH (Quasimodo Z x Hors La Loi II) took home the win with a time of 25.28 seconds. Dutch rider Ruben Romp on Gintura (VDL Sirocco Blue x Corland) where once again in great form and took the runner-up position after clocking a time of 25.41s. Belgium’s Ines van den Bosch also continued her great results picking up another top placing – this time placing third with Vedette (Quidam’s Willow x Robin II) after the clocks stopped at 30.26s.
In the Super Cup 1.35m Nespresso Prize, Ines van den Bosch made it all the way to the top of the podium and picked up a win riding Ecoliene (Warrant x Indoctro) to a time of 46.27 seconds. Van den Bosch left her compatriot Christophe De Brabander and L’Hermes de Muze (Elvis Ter Putte x Jalisco B) to runner-up position, while USA’s Sophie Gochman on Saskia BH (Stakkato Gold x Promotion) took the third spot.
Belgium’s own Camille Demolie took home the top honours in the last Super Cup class of the day, the 1.40m Beaufort Prize. Riding Kalinka Van’t Heike (breeding unknown), Demolie stopped the clock at 29.01 seconds leaving USA’s Mimi Gochman and HH Gigi’s Girl (Vingino x Celano) to second and Belgium’s Alain Colette on Jappeloup (Toulon x Concorde) to third with the times of 30.37s and 30.96s respectively.
