The Brussels Stephex Masters had to contend with rain, a lot of rain. However, as the event came to an end, everyone was able to leave the parking area smoothly, and the arena remained in perfect condition. A big shoutout to the team behind the Brussels Stephex Masters is definitely in order.
Stephan Conter shares, “For 9 years now, we have been creating and perfecting the Brussels Stephex Masters together as a team. Every single one of my colleagues is of great importance to me and to our event. When we were faced with catastrophic conditions this week, they managed to fix the situation in just 10 hours. What a team. We had a fantastic crowd, the best riders in the world, unforgettable sports moments, and none of it would be possible without them.
Even the grass arena, lauded by the top 3 riders of the Grand Prix, remains in exceptional condition. Stephan notes, “Together with my Belgian supplier, we worked very hard to create the perfect grass footing. For the wellbeing of our horses, all events should have such an arena. I am more than happy to share with anyone how we achieved this result. It will benefit our sport! And, by the way, it’s not much more expensive than a regular sand arena.”
