Felix Hassmann triumphs in the Henders & Hazel Super Cup Grand Prix

The first Grand Prix winners of Knokke Hippique 2021 have made history!

On Saturday morning Charlotte Jacobs was the first rider to claim a victory on the Zoute Plage. The rider from the USA was one out of the fourteen athletes that qualified for the 1.30m Prestige League Grand Prix jump-off. With Coolivio PS she rode a mighty impressive round finishing almost a whole second ahead of the number two, Alexandra Crown (USA) Alexandra also made good time with her horse Basic stopping the clock also almost a whole second faster than Dutch rider Madee Schuttebeld and Piccolo R who ended in third place of the CSI1* Grand Prix – presented by Maasmechelen Village.

In the CSI2* Super Cup Grand Prix – presented by Henders & Hazel – it was the German anthem that played at the end of 1.45m class. Felix Hassmann and Sig Captain America were the first combination to go into the jump-off in which seven pairs would give it their all. Hassmann set the time to beat on 34.93 and it turned out to be an unbeatable time. The rider that came closest was Stefanie Carroll. With High Point VDL the Dutch rider made great strides, finishing in second place. Tim Wilks slotted in third place with Diamanthella Vg Z.
