The Belgian riders take two out of three wins in Thursday’s Prestige League

Thursday’s Prestige League CSI1* competitions kicked off with a win for Belgium’s Jenthe Gelade and Alma Vita de Septon Z (A Big Boy x Ogano Sitte) in the 1.05m Agterberg Prize. The top eight was all filled with Belgian riders, and completing the podium was Laura Martin and Stephanie Haelterman. 

Ella Bikoff (USA) took the second Prestige League victory of the day, in the 1.25m Kask Prize. Riding KEC Havana (Aldatus Z x Furisto), Bikoff was followed by two Belgian riders: Koen De Waele on Hilfiger Van T Amaldonk Z (Horion de Libersart x Casall) in second and Sandra Buytaert on Elounda Girl (Berlin x Ahorn) in third.

The Prestige League was closed off with Sandra Buytaert taking the top honours in the 1.15m EHS Prize. Aboard Jeneration Pin (Kannan x Chin Chin), the Belgian rider left Becky Gochman (USA) on Rusty Girl (C Indoctro x Artichaut) behind her in second while third place went to Leon Brutsaert – also representing the host nation – on Indiana (breeding unknown).
